U18 & U19 boys Football –Saturday, 9:00am OR 10:45am

Women’s, U18 or U19 Football – Friday Nights, 7:00pm

* Time On follows AFL rulings 10.6. (Approx Finish 4:45pm)

Reserves Football

Qtrs–20 minutes flat. Breaks –5,10,5. Time Req’d 1hr 45mins

Women’s Football

Qtrs–17 minutes flat. Breaks –5,10,5. Time Req’d 1hr 35mins

U18 & U19 boys Football

Qtrs–20 minutes flat. Breaks –5,10,5. Time Req’d 1hr 45mins

 

Timekeepers are instructed to start the game clock at the scheduled time, and NOT to wait until the teams are ready to play.

 

Promotion Relegation

Senior Men’s Football & Open Netball

  • Premier Division will revert to a (10) team competition in 2025.
  • With the departure of Narre Warren & Berwick Springs post the 2024 season, The club who finishes in last place (post removal of those two clubs) in Premier Division Senior Football will be relegated.
  • The club who wins the 2024 Senior Football Premiership in Division One will be promoted.

 Women’s football

  • It’s the OEFN’s intention that Division One women’s competition will have 8 teams competing in it for season 2025, subject to total team entries.

Concussion

All Competitions–Football & Netball

Concussion timeline increased to 21 Days minimum before a return to play.

Players must produce the required return to play document, signed by their doctor, before returning to play.

 

Finals

Premier Division – Football & Netball

Structure: Top 6, Four-week Series. Series explained here

Dates: 31-8, 7-9, 15-9 with the GF’s on 21-9-24.

 

Division One – Football & Netball

Structure: Top 5, Four-week Series.

Dates: 25-8, 1-9, 8-9 with the GF’s on 14-9-24.

 

Women’s Football – Division One & Two

Structure: Top 4, Three-week series.

Dates: 10-8, 17-8 with the GF’s on the 25-8

 

Under 18 Football

Structure: Top 4, Three-week series.

Dates: Bye weekend 25-8, Finals 1-9, 8-9 and GF on 14-9.

 

Under 19 Football

Structure: Top 4, Three-week series.

Dates: Bye weekend 31-8, Finals 7-9, 15-9 and GF on 21-9.
