Newly Appointed Director of Umpiring

The OEFN board is pleased to inform you of the appointment of Jason McNiece as the OEFN Director of Umpiring.

Jason has an extensive history and 30 years’ experience in Umpiring including previous stints in our competitions. His umpiring began in the Southern Football league then onto the YVMDFL before making the VFL squads for a couple of years. Post his time at the VFL he has been engaged in umpiring at the VAFA, SFNL, YVMDFNL, and Gippsland.   

Some of the other roles/experience Jason has held within umpiring are:

VCFL umpiring academy.

President SFLUA.

Secretary YRUA.

Director of umpiring of DRJFL.

Fitness coach, Gippsland umpires and Southern Football League Umpires.

Field umpire coach at Gippsland Umpires.

Boundary Umpire coach SFNL.

 

Jason has also officiated in 23 Senior/Reserves Grand Finals.
