An exciting opportunity exists for a talented media all rounder to lead and drive the Media, marketing and promotions of AFL Outer East.
The successful applicant will be directly responsible for the production of League’s on-line activities, all printed material, such as the weekly football record and annual report and the regions Football and Netball Broadcast’s
Reporting to the Region General Manager, the successful applicant will deliver the following :
- Identify and implement initiatives that provide commercial opportunities emerging through digital media, social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
- Produce and upload compelling video and audio content that is relevant to AFL OE audiences.
- Manage the AFL OE’s external communications, providing print and electronic media outlets with information that is of interest and relevance .
- Recruit and manage a team of media volunteers to provide a broad coverage of AFL OE football
- Support the producer of the AFL OE’s radio programs.
- Manage the production of video coverage of AFL OE matches.
- Produce the AFL OE written publications such as the football record, newsletters and the league’s annual reports.
- Identify the AFL OE’s key interest groups and manage appropriate communications.
- Manage incoming enquiries from media outlets and support clubs in the management of media enquiries
- Support the production of AFL OE’s major events that include the season launch and presentation functions.
- Manage the commercial aspects of the AFL OE media operations through the sale of advertising and sponsorship properties associated with the AFL OE media activities.
- Manage the regular online update of scores, results and ladders for all grades of AFL OE football.
