Celebrating International Women’s Day 2024

This International Women’s day we would like to acknowledge and thank all the women and girls who participate in our competition, including volunteers, coaches, and players.

This year the focus is on inspiring inclusion.

The OEFN are inspiring inclusion through the below initiatives:

Inclusion Policy

The Outer East and affiliated clubs are committed to respect, inclusion, and gender equality. Men, women, and non-binary people affiliated with the Outer East have equal opportunity to participate as employees, players, supporters, volunteers, and officials.

OEFN’s inclusion policy outlines terms to ensure the Outer East FN is a safe and inclusive environment for all.

Action Plan

Based on the policy, OEFN have developed an action plan based on the below four pillars:

Empowerment: develop, educate, and support our players, coaches, umpires, and volunteers to enable all to reach their potential.

Opportunity: Equal opportunity for all participants to play our sports and to progress in both games, at all levels.

Visibility: Every competition and participant is highly visible, promoted and recognised.

Inclusive: Safe, inclusive, and welcoming environments for all participants.
