In the Under 18 Premier Division, Mt Evelyn’s losing run continued, losing to Donvale by 56 points.
Mt Evelyn weren’t able to score anything in the first half, and were only able to score three points in the second.
In Division One, Seville had a comfortable win over Knox.
The margin was only four points at quarter time, but by half time that had blown out to 18 points. Seville were able to keep Knox scoreless in the third term and held on for the win despite a goalless final term.
Mt Evelyn’s under 16 Premier Division side won their fourth game in a row, comfortably accounting for Mitcham.
Mt Evelyn were able to keep Mitcham scoreless for three quarters, running away with a 56 point win.
It was the final round in the Under 16 Outer East division.
Yarra Glen (Jetstream) finished their great season on a high, defeating Upwey Tecoma.
Things didn’t start well at all for Upwey Tecoma, as they were kept scoreless in the opening term. Things didn’t improve much from there, as they were restricted to only two goals for the afternoon, with Yarra Glen winning by 35 points.
Paris Saunders continued her goal kicking prowess, kicking four goals in the win.
Another side who had scoring issues was Emerald, who lost to Healesville.
Emerald had a scoreless first half, and only managed to score one in the second. Healesville ended up winning by 29 points.
Finally, Yea got a win over Olinda Ferny Creek.
These results see Yarra Glen, Healesville, Upwey Tecoma and Emerald make the finals.
It was also the final round of the Under 14 Outer East Division.
Monbulk continued their great season, defeating Belgrave.
Monbulk held a 20 point lead heading into the first change, but Belgrave came right back and reduced the margin to 13 points, while keeping Monbulk to only one goal for the term. Things opened up in the third term with Monbulk increasing their lead to 21 points, and it grew even further to an eventual final margin of 35 points.
Georgia Knight kicked five goals for Monbulk in the win.
Mt Evelyn scored a massive win over Healesville, to the tune of 125 points.
Healesville were kept scoreless all afternoon as the Rovers ran away with the win.
In an eerily similar result, Emerald also scored a 125 point, over Worawa, and kept Worawa scoreless all afternoon.
In a much closer result, Olinda Ferny Creek held off Jetstream to win by seven points.
Jetstream were kept scoreless for three quarters, and came right back at Olinda Ferny Creek in the last term, but were ultimately not able to get over the line.
These results see Mount Evelyn, Monbulk, Emerald and Olinda Ferny Creek make the finals.
Finally, the last round of the Under 12 Outer East Division saw wins to Yarra Glen (over Olinda Ferny Creek), Mount Evelyn (over Healesville) and in the battle of Belgrave it was the Pinks who inflicted the Black’s first loss of the season.
These results see Yarra Glen, Mount Evelyn, Healesville and Belgrave Black make the finals.
