AFL OUTER EAST ANNOUNCE ROCHFORD PARTNERSHIP

Rochford has become one of the region’s most prominent wineries since its beginning in 2002, something that has been built off of its relationship with the local community.

This will only strengthen as a part of its new partnership with the AFL Outer East, which will see Rochford become the preferred wine of the AFL Outer East. It will also see major events of the AFL Outer East held at Rochford from season 2020

In a letter addressed to the AFL Outer East community (the full letter can be found at the bottom of this release), Rochford owner Helmut Konecsny encouraged members of the AFL Outer East to embrace the new partnership and enjoy all that Rochford has to offer.

“Partnering with the AFL Outer East is my way of supporting the communities that are the life blood of this region,”

“I see it as contributing to the regions that have helped Rochford become the Yarra Valley’s premier destination for wine tourism and entertainment,”

AFL Outer East Region General Manager Aaron Bailey also spoke about the new partnership and what it holds for all parties.

“This is a significant signing for our region and it highlights the growth of our competitions, to be able to welcome a business of Rochford’s standing as a partner,”
