The AFL Outer East has released the 2021 Hallam & Bayswater Truck Centres Division One senior football and netball fixture.
The 18-round, nine-team competition will commence on Saturday, April 17, in what is set to be a milestone day for a number of clubs.
After a long wait, Seville will unfurl the 2019 Division Two Premiership flag when it hosts Gembrook Cockatoo, while Mount Evelyn will also unveil the 2019 A Grade Netball Premiership flag in Round One, ahead of a Grand Final rematch against Monbulk in Round 5.
Additionally, Monbulk will play its 1000th match since the formation of the YVMDFNL when it comes up against Officer in Round 1, and Berwick Springs will play its first-ever senior football match at Belgrave.
Round Two will see Emerald host Gembrook Cockatoo in a traditional Anzac game, while Berwick Springs will open its new ground and facilities against Gembrook Cockatoo the following week.
Mount Evelyn and Gembrook Cockatoo’s fixtures have been affected by their current facility works.
The Brookers will play their 1000th match since the formation of the YVMDFNL when they take on Seville in Round 10.
There will be a bye weekend for all teams following Round 8, with no games to be played on the Queen’s Birthday Weekend.
